Incidents and status page

Track outages, write post-mortems and publish a public status page.

Incident lifecycle

An incident is opened automatically when a monitor goes DOWN and resolved when it recovers. Open Incidents & RCA to see active outages, the mean time to resolution and the history.

Add updates to the timeline as you work. The stages are Investigating, Identified, Monitoring and Resolved, and each update records its author and time.

Declare an incident yourself

Use Declare Incident to announce a planned maintenance window or an outage before the checks notice it. Choose a severity: Critical, Major, Minor or Maintenance.

Post-mortems

Each incident has a post-mortem editor. Insert Standard SRE Template adds the usual sections: Executive Summary, Impact, Timeline, Root Cause, Mitigating Actions and Action Items. A post-mortem is private until you publish it.

Public status page

The public status page is at https://respulse.online/status. It shows an overall banner, 24-hour and 90-day uptime per component, active incidents and published post-mortems of the last 7 days.

The public page on this site presents the services of the ResPulse operator itself. Customer organizations cannot publish their monitors there, nothing of yours becomes public by default.
